The Fire 2016Five years from now, I’ll administer a plan, that may very well save a song, but only if you let it for I just hope it isn’t just seen as a phase that has passedby a memory, only looked back a message that is simply sent sin. For if not you, it can save, Maybe your nieces and nephew, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters.Sons, daughters, neighbors, friends, all strangers. If you could save us now, ladiesand gentlemen, there was a fire amongst us. A, A fire that rises, rises amongst flint, rises amongst Haiti ,rises amongst Detroit.Rises in Iraq, rises in Paris, rises in France, rises in Africa, rises in America. A flame of a very few above the massesFor it is a fire that makes us leaders successful, wealthy, powerful. Great. It is the fire that molds us. But out of all these few people, there is only a small flame amongst the rest. So tell me, what does the flame do to you? To many, it takes a simple blow and then a smoke and then nothing. But in every 100 there is one in which will never lose its flame for it is the fire. In Flint, they said 100,000 will be affectedby the lead in the water there. A hundred thousand mentally unstable, a hundred thousand crazy individuals, a hundred thousand mad. A city So dark on the verge of its insanity what comes to mind when hearing something like That? To me. It’s Gotham, the Dark Knight.Inspired by DC comics, written by Christopher Nolan, who was inspired by a Tale of Two Cities written by Charles Dickinson, was then inspired by Thomas Carlisle, who wrote the History of A French Revolution inspired by the revolution of a century, a revolution that brought an end uponoppressors. Question. By a show of hands, how many of you all know of the French Revolution? Okay,Well, for those of you who don’t know, it was basically a time where a bunch of poor people overcame their leaders. But not without an excessive force of violence as its source of fuel. What is a revolution? What has to happen in order for revolution to occur?Simple. The oppressed must overcome their oppressor, but in order for revolution to happen, many must suffer. But it’s kind of ironic how, because these people do all this work, go through so much only to become the oppressors that they fought to overcome. So the only way to overcome our demons is to become them, in this case, it is a revolution in us all.I first saw this when I went for the first time in my life, to a predominantly white school where two 4.0 students did nothing but snitch and speak down on my ethics of education. Then again, when the girl walked up to me and told me her status, then asked me of mine, knowing where I stood on the stereotypical grade level, then again when someone mentioned my hairline, my clothes, my shoes, knowing they had better. So in instinct they did, only what one in a revolution could do. Look! Down! I see it in the doctor who checks his patients and boasted about their degrees and accomplishments and his daughters as well knowingly weighing the pressing down on their minorities It is on the workforces. Colleges, schools, our mothers who were told they couldn’t amount to anything. So then as a fire rose, to tell us the same. Fathers who told us the same. For no matter how we rise is in our nature to rise then oppress When will it end? The revolution. It is in Dr. Laclerks natural selection, Mr. Kazes world history, the revolution, it is in Mr. Graves literature, the revolution? In Detroit. DPS schools have been giving third grade education to ninth graders, abandoning a hopeless people. 1% Of those arise. The rest. The rest, for whatever reason will fall That 1% leaders, successful, powerful, wealthy, great either way, that 1% the revolution. But there is a greater danger amongst us. That danger is ignorance. The ignorance of not wanting to know how to know where to know. The strength of wanting to know. The internet has changed. Yet as expected in all revolutions, blindness, all we do now is occupy the Instagram, the Snapchat, the Kikapps and games that only distract man. He killed them wit they love Stephen King once said, with our love for one anotherand our love for things, if it was to be switched around in Retrospect, the outside of the box would show us all blindlyand immaturely falling like those in Detroit, but then would be the fire. There’d be the 1% he that rises theythat rises. The revolution. You are no victim to it. Why you to are an oppressors. The teachers are oppressors. The principal for whether she mayknow it or not, is an oppressor. I am an oppressor. for I to am telling a people what they can’t do, what you won’t accomplish, in that light? I create more demons than I destroy Making you the 1% you the 1% you. Then you no you. The 1%. For it is always changing, leaving me only correct when vaguely expressing the overall. But if in every 100or 100,000 there is a 1% what happens, when the population increases, the percent increases. The fire rises. Look at the 300 Spartans, the Mongolswith the last mohicans, the fire, but just as the fire of a good rises to concrete and evil. So does an evil Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Christopher Columbus, the yellow fever, the bubonic plague, the Spanish flu, time after time, character after character for some reason, whether man made orby God’s influences that continuous revolutions seem to act as if somehow something in nature, having a way of protecting itself when things go bad, take the Spanish flu for instance. Let’s say that there were a 10% in the world rising. A leaders, a bunch of leaders to the peakof a world destruction, the Spanish flu, which came around and took out 50% of the worlds population comes aroundand wipes them out to a small 10%, to a one persmint, Which then turns them out to instead of having50 hitlers running around, you only have one man and a plan years in the making to bring down two towers.for it seems that revolution will bring an end to the world. Or at least there’s that glimpse, that vague view. When God flooded the earth, he promised never againto bring an end upon it with water. But with fire! on the tower, that so many tried climbing to reach the heavens in an idea of forming as one the fire rises, in the days of oppression, which set off an American revolution, which speaks for our freedom. Today, the fire risesIn systems where revolutions must exist in America where revolutions must exist in the classes for people to work and money to be made, the fire risesIn civil rights in the days of them. Martin Luther King, the fire rises. Nelson Mandela, the fire rises. Barack Obama, the fire rises. Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, the fire rises, I am not a preacher but a minister of change, and an adversary, for the fire. And Woopdy Doo there goes 100 percent, a Hundred percent attention as Mr. Cane has so many times professed singing is 80% listening, 20% vocal. We have just won four fifth the battle! Now. Whether it’ll be the fat lady, our uncles, our mothers, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, one way or another, we will sing. Thank you.
